The main roles of a Quantity Surveyor are,

  • Manage the finances for any kind of construction project, whether it’s a house, a high-rise, a bridge, or a tunnel.
  • Work to keep the project on time.
  • Work to keep the project within the budget.
  • Make sure that construction costs and production are managed as efficiently as possible.
  • Resolve disputes between the contracting parties.
  • Prepare insurance replacement estimates for all kinds of buildings, including houses.
  • Check the defects of the building-post construction.
